Medical staff can quickly locate devices through computers or mobile terminals, reducing the average search time from 30 minutes to within 5 minutes. At the same time, the system intelligently plans maintenance plans based on data such as device usage duration and frequency, reducing equipment failure rates by about 20% and effectively improving equipment utilization and service life.

2、 Drug inventory and traceability management

A chain pharmacy is facing problems in drug management, such as time-consuming inventory and difficult identification of counterfeit drugs. Using RFID technology, labels are affixed to each drug packaging to record the drug name, dosage form, specifications, production batch, production date, expiration date, manufacturer, approval number, and logistics information from production to sales. Install readers and writers at the entrance, shelves, checkout counter, and other locations of the pharmacy warehouse. When drugs are put into storage, the reader automatically reads the label information and quickly completes the storage registration, which improves efficiency by more than 70% compared to manual input. During inventory counting, staff hold readers and write devices to patrol the warehouse, and the inventory can be completed in a short time with an accuracy rate of 99%. When consumers purchase drugs, they can view the full traceability information of the drug process through the pharmacy's query terminal or mobile phone scanning code. The pharmacy can also quickly identify counterfeit drugs with the help of the system. Since the application of this technology, there has been no further influx of counterfeit drugs.

3、 Patient identification and security management

A certain tertiary hospital has risks such as blurred handwritten wristbands and incorrect information verification in the patient identification process. After applying RFID wristband, the wristband has built-in tags that store key information such as patient name, gender, age, medical record number, allergy history, blood type, etc. Medical staff use handheld readers to scan wristbands during examinations, treatments, medication and other operations for patients, instantly obtaining accurate information and comparing it with information in the system to avoid medical errors caused by identity recognition errors. In the obstetrics ward, newborns and mothers wear paired RFID wristbands. When the mother and baby are not matched and approach or the baby is illegally taken away from the designated area, the system immediately issues an alarm to ensure the safety of the mother and baby. Since its implementation, the hospital has not experienced any incidents of baby misplacement or theft.
